Therapy for Depression

Depression can leave you feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from your life.

It quietly impacts everything; your feelings, thoughts, mood, motivation, physical health, work and relationships.

When you're depressed, you may feel like there's no way out and no matter what you try nothing seems to work.

Because there is no one cause of depression, treatment can look different for each person.

During treatment we take time to identify and explore the causes and work together on processing the feelings that come up and developing new ways of coping.

What we now refer to as Canada was also built on the labour of many immigrant and migrant communities. We remember those who came here involuntarily, particularly those brought to these lands as a result of the trans-Atlantic slave trade and slavery. This city was built on stolen land and stolen labour of Black, Indigenous, and racialized people.

We are committed to understanding the ongoing impacts of colonization and working towards decolonization, both inside and outside the therapy room. Please visit native-land.ca to learn about whose lands you are on.
